If you’ve been following us on Instagram, you know that we have an RVE Fit Club that attends workouts every Saturday morning in preparation for the Austin Fit Company Challenge this Saturday, April 8. But did you know that our team also prepares and leads workouts 3 other times a week? That’s right—Tuesday through Thursday, various team members lead an activity for others on our team to do after work!
It all started back at our All Hands meeting in January. Many of us expressed desires to focus on our health and wellness more than we were, and thus, our Outtrain club was born. The great thing is how these workouts are by our team and for our team. It helps those of us who feel a little uncomfortable in a class with strangers, or who need some extra motivation on a Tuesday afternoon, to be active without pressure.
And it’s not all about working out! We’re focusing on nutrition and eating better, too. Having a balanced diet and being active go hand-in-hand, so we’re helping each other stay accountable. That’s what we love about our team: we always support and lift each other up, even after work hours.
