Q) Everyone has that “Aha!” moment in their life when they figure out what they really wanted to do as a career. What was the first sign that you were meant for the events and meeting industry?
A) Once I realized that not everyone planned their first-grade sleepovers (in a custom planning book) with itineraries packed full of activities and created handmade invitations.

Q) How did you learn about Red Velvet Events?
A) Being from up north (not Dallas… Wisconsin), I utilized good old Google to discover RVE and Austin.

Q) RVE’s love for Austin is well known. What’s your very favorite thing about Austin?
A) My favorite thing is the think local, drink local ideology. Nothin’ like a Blood & Honey from Revolver Brewing.

Q) Nothing’s perfect – not even our beloved city. If money and time were no object, what’s the one thing you would change about Austin?
A) I’d create a train system here like the L in Chicago.

Q) Everyone says they’re detailed-oriented. But what secret trait about you really demonstrates your commitment to order and details?
A) I organize my beauty products into a hierarchical structure that starts out by broad types (for example eye makeup and face makeup) and makes its way down to narrow details (hydrating body lotion and hydrating body cream).
