Happy Fourth of July from RVE!
Cindy and the Red Velvet Events team hope you have a fabulous Fourth of July weekend. It’s a holiday for family, food and fireworks, things we all enjoy.
If you’re new to the Austin area, or in town for the holiday weekend, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the Fourth here.
The 39th Annual HEB Austin Symphony July 4 Concert and Fireworks returns to Auditorium Shores this year (it was held at Circuit of the Americas in 2014 due to construction at Auditorium Shores.) Traditionally, people watch the fireworks from the banks of Ladybird Lake; and sometimes from boats out in the lake. Rooftop parties downtown are another fun option.
The 2015 Freedom 5000 is an early-morning 5K race held at Camp Mabry, just west of downtown. There’s also a 1K race for children. Come to run or to cheer the runners on; it’s a great way to burn calories before your 4th of July barbecue.
Speaking of barbecue, Austin has plenty of legendary barbecue, perfect for the Fourth (or really, any day.) Any time of year, RVE is happy to set your group up with the best barbecue in town. Contact us to find out more.
