Making Ideas, Images & Illustrations Iconic: Part I
Let’s face it: appearances matter.
As the saying goes, you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression; and nowhere is that more true than at events. When a guest walks into a business promotional event, he or she almost instantly forms an opinion of the event—an opinion that strongly connects to how he or she sees the business itself. Is the company cutting-edge, or using copycat themes? Does the event feel fresh and exciting, or is it stale and dull? Is there great branding, or is it boring?
Even the smallest details can make a huge difference. Sleek, simple signage combines functionality with style. Main stage accents can evoke sophistication or the exciting promise of the future. And since photos from thrilling off-site parties are sure to wind up on social media immediately, the décor better be picture-perfect!
This is why a creative director’s vision is so crucial to successful events. A talented creative director and creative team can steer the overall theme of any conference or event from “It was okay” to “Oh wow!”
Red Velvet Events is proud to employ one of the best creative teams out there:
- Tracy K. Greene’s passion for mixing sophisticated designs with glamorous and unexpected details creates some of the most compelling visual art decorating events in Austin and beyond. (Tracy also does the caricatures you see on RVE’s “Meet the Team” page.)
- Maureen Chunta creates calligraphy and other gorgeous hand-drawn works of art that give events gorgeous, graceful details.
- LeeAnn Lo is a genius behind the camera—and in front of it! Her photography skills give her the ability to view events from a perspective that makes the staging come alive.
Next week, we’ll show some of our favorite designs from our creative team! Until then, contact us to find out how we can help you make your event stand apart like never before.
