Event Branding At a Glance
Last year, we wrote a blog post on successfully branding events. But we felt this important topic was worth another look.
How exactly can you measure whether or not you’ve successfully branded your event? The quickest way to figure out: if a professional photographer takes a photo of the event, the viewer should immediately be able to guess who sponsored it.
There are a number of ways to make sure that your event is unmistakably yours, no matter what angle you look at it. For example, it’s easy to infuse the company color into the space. But that’s certainly not the only way to put your corporate name on an event, literally and figuratively.
Here are some suggestions we’ve found that have the greatest impact:
Little Details, Big Message.
Custom candy toppers for desserts are sure to get noticed, as are foil-stamped cocktail napkins and colorful coffee stirs.
It’s A Shirt Thing.
Add the brand name or logo to all the staff shirts. This gives the staff a uniform appearance while also sealing your brand’s association with the event.
Signs Point To Yes.
Signage is a crucial part of event branding. Add signs for the building’s exits, conference rooms and even restrooms using your company logo’s font and colors.
Table The Issue.
Upgrade your table linens to ensure they coordinate with your company color scheme. This makes a much bolder statement than basic white or black.
Keep It Consistent.
Whatever branding touches you make to your event, make sure they have a consistent look and feel with one another. As Clinton Kelly from “What Not To Wear” would say, they don’t have to match – they just have to go together.
